St Peter's Vestry rebuilding started on Monday 6 October 2008. The church is closed during the rebuilding with St Peter's congregation worshiping a Holymoorside Methodist Church.
Work was carried out by Tom Stockton and his team.
Building work pictures
Bishop Alastair, the Bishop of Derby, consecrated and blessed the Vesty at the morning service at St Peter's on Sunday 18 January 2009. He also publically thanked Tom Stockton.
