1 Timothy 1:1 We have many opportunities for both private and communal prayers in St Thomas'. Here are some of those times when we can make our prayers, requests and intercessions known and give thanks to our Father. Seeking the Vision for St Thomas' The house group run by Mark Vaughn and Emma Atkinson has committed itself to seek God’s vision for St Thomas’. They meet at 7.45pm in Portacabin 1 for refreshments and fellowship and move into church at 8.30pm for prayer. Anyone else who wishes is welcome to come and join them. People@Prayer A time for us all to come together to pray for St Thomas’, its family and other concerns. This is held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.45pm in the Church meeting Room. World Mission Prayer Meeting Held once a quarter on the 3rd Wednesday of the month this is an opportunity to be updated about, and prayer for 4 of the mission organisations that we support at St Thomas. Prayer Ministry/After Service Prayers There is an opportunity to pray with a couple of people after every 6.30pm service if you have a need for yourself or others. Prayers in Church Every Wednesday from 9am -12 noon the church is open for personal prayer. This is an ideal opportunity to come into St Thomas' and pray for the work and the people of St Thomas' and the parish. Prayer in the Vestry Meeting at 8.30am every Saturday morning to pray for the work of St Thomas'. Weekly Prayer Email An e-mail list of St Thomas’ members to communicate prayer needs both personal and corporate. It is published here under the name of 'Prayer Thought'. Personal details of illnesses etc. have been removed. Directions on how to join the e-mail list are also here. Telephone Circle People committed to pray for any urgent prayer needs.
