50 anniversary
The Jublilee of S Thomas'
The Fiftieth Anniversary of the opening of St Thomas' Church, will be Celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, 1981, by Special Services,
Celebration of Holy Communion at 8.30am. Choral Litany and Address at 3.30pm. Evening Service with sermon at 7.30pm.
Preacher at both service, the Rev Canon melville Scott, MA, Vicar of St Mary's Litchfield, and Canon in Litchfield Cathederal.
Special Sermons will be preached on Sunday , 31st, by the Rector.
Offertories for the Church Expenses Fund.

Brampton St Thomas Parish Church 1830-1930
Centenary Services Saturday 1 February, 8pm Solemn Evensong, Preadcher: The archdeacon of Chesterfield.
Sunday, 2 February, (100th Anniversary of the laying of the Foundation Stone by the 6th Duke of Devonshire).
11am Mattins, Preacher: The Bishop of Derby. 6.30pm Evensong, Preacher: The Vicar of Old Brampton.
His Grace the Duke of Devonshire, KG, has kindly intimated his intention of being present at Mattins on Sunday, 2nd February.
The parochial Tea will be held on Wednesday 5th February, at 5.30pm, at St Thomas' Schools. Admission 1/3.
