St Peter's Services
Are you thinking of coming to a service at St Thomas' or St Peter's for the first time?
If you are this page will give you an idea of what to expect.

Although we are one parish we have two churches -St Thomas' is on Chatsworth Road and St Peter's is in Holymoorside. St Thomas' is a fairly large urban church and St Peter's a village church.
Please use the links to find out more about us and how to find us.

St Thomas' Services
Check here for any changes to service times and find out more details of the services
Usually at 9am (fairly formal), 11am (more contemporary with children's activities) and 6pm (more informal).

No particular dress code -some people where 'Sunday Best', some jeans and a t-shirt and many some where between!

No collection is taken during the service -there is a box to place an offering in at the back of church if you wish.

There is ramp access for those with mobility problems but no 'accessable' toilets. (We are planning to rectify this soon.) There is a hearing loop.

When you arrive at the church either walk from Chatsworth Road up the path on the left hand side of the church yard and come in through the main doors or come in via the door leading off the car park. You should be met by a member of the 'Welcome Team'.

During the service it will be obvious what to do, e.g. when to sit and stand etc. However if you want to sit at anytime or raise your arms or even dance, feel free to do it!
