  • Have you ever wondered about religious things?
  • Have you wished you could find out more about Christianity without going to church?
  • Have you ever wanted to learn to pray to God?
  • Have you ever wished you could understand the Bible better, and make sense of it so that it can speak to you?
  • Have you ever wondered what life is really all about, why am I here?
  • If you would like to explore any of these questions, then ALPHA is for you.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone!
It particularly caters for:
  • People interested in investigating Christianity.
  • Newcomers to the Church.
  • New Christians/ those preparing for baptism.
  • Couples preparing for marriage.
  • Parents or godparents of children being baptised.
  • Those who want to brush-up on the basics or those returning to church after a break.

What happens at Alpha?
  • Alpha runs for between 10 and 12 weeks.
  • At each session there is a short talk followed by a time in smaller groups for everyone to discuss any issues or questions they have, giving them the opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.
  • No one has to say anything unless they want to!
What will it cost?
There is no charge for the Alpha course.
