PCC/DCCs membership
St Thomas' Annual General Meeting
Wedenesday 21 April 2010.

It was the first St Thomas' AGM as last year St Thomas' District Church Council was established to manage the running of St Thomas'. This has freed up the PCC to concentrate on strategic issues. (St Peter's has had a DCC for a long time.)

The meeting, attended by some 60 people, was extremely positive. The meeting looked back at the last year and looked forward to the coming year. The positives include an increase in numbers attending services (although the 9am Sunday attendance has declined), financial stability, new initiatives, new staff, the imminent start of the new building, our 1000 Days of Prayer and a sense that the Holy Spirit is moving through St Thomas'.

Karen Riley and Mark Hoare were nominated for re-election as Church Wardens (to be elected at the APCM on Sunday 25 April). Catherine Mann, Scott Atkinson, Helen Murray and Warren Cassling were elected to the DCC (Details here)

APCM held 25.4.10 available here (includes Parish Report and Financial Report)
