Due to Matt our Rector being away, Andy Broom led the service and Ruth Turner gave the address. It was attended by members of St Thomas' and the local Brampton community. Also, on parade were the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.
The Scouts led an activity based on 'Family Fortunes' about re-building after a war. They also did the Bible readings and read a poem about 'hope'.
Ruth's talk was about hope and re-building.
The Act of Remembrance was held at 11am at the War Memorial. Wreaths were laid by the Keith Morgan, on behalf of the community, the police, the scouts and Chris McHale representing St Thomas'.
