Ruth led a 'Remembering Activity'. We were invited to tie ribbons, representing the British servicemen who had died in Afganistan this year, on a wooden cross. We each then took a name of one those killed and read them out all together. Matt gave a talk about being prepared to give to enhance peace. It involved camels. The Act of Remembrance was held at 11am at the War Memorial. Wreaths were laid by the Mayor, Mayoress, the police, scouts and Chris McHale representing St Thomas'. Jade Collins played the 'Last Post' on her cornet. The police again stopped the traffic on Chatsworth Road during the Act of Remembrance. Listen to the service here
