Mothering Sunday was an All Age Service let by Ruth Turner, our Curate and Karen Herrick our Children’s Ministry & Community Outreach Co-ordinator. We sang, listened to Fran and Maureen telling us how God helped them as mothers and prayed, knotting a piece of thread to remind us of our prayers. We also had a quiz where we had to guess what the top things people thought mothers did. Items representing these things were given to Sian to hold. There were so many that she collapsed under the weight of them! At the end of the services daffodils were given out to our mums.
