The Rector, Matt Barnes, lead the 2009 Remembrance Service. It was attended by members of St Thomas', the local Brampton community, the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield and a representive from the Police. Also on parade were the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers. The Scouts, Cubs and Beavers read from the Bible, read poems and performed a drama. Courtney Collins played the 'Last Post' on her cornet.
