A Baptism and Confirmation Service was held at St Thomas' Church. The service was conducted by Bishop Jack Nicholls, (who has recently retired as Bishop of Sheffield). There were candidates for confirmation from St Thomas' and St John's Walton. The candidates from St Thomas' were Ashley Weatherall, Lisa Collins, Julie Lomas, Ben Marshall and Robin and Hayley Broadbent. The candidates from St John's were Sophie Green and Stephen Menary.
