You are invited to pray every day for some or all of these topics.

Our seven named priorities at St Thomas’ for 2009/10
1. Unleash the power of persistent prayer.
2. Engage in life-changing evangelism.
3. Master new structures for mission and ministry.
4. Build capital assets for the future.
5. Assemble a springboard for deeper community engagement.
6. Release new leaders in their God-given calling.
7. Realise financial stability in a season of economic insecurity.

St Thomas’ (Living Stones) Parish Centre
• Funding.
• Appointment of the right contractor.
• Church members working to develop our community ministry.
• The future use of the building.

Worship, Prayer and Leadership
• For Matt (Rector), Ruth (Curate), Audrey (Curate), Gemma (Youth Worker), Karen (Children and Community Co-ordinator), Gaz (Pastoral and Worship Assistant), Anne (Administrator), Readers and Wardens.
• For our PCC and DCC members and the decisions they have to make.
• For the lesson readers and those leading intercessions.
• For the musicians.
• For the PA and visuals operators.
• For the Welcome Teams and sidespeople.

Resources and Support for Ministry
• Thanksgiving for resources that enabled us to employ Gaz as a Parish Assistant.
• For prayer to overcome the shortfall in our income.
• For Anne and her work in the office and all who support the church administratively.

Children and Youth Ministry
• For our Powerzone, Enegise and Engage groups and leaders.
• For our Detached Youth team.
• For the Furnace team.
• For Totzone parents and carers and helpers.
• For our work in local schools (Brookfield, St Mary’s, Old Hall and Westfield).

Adult Ministry and Pastoral Care
• For our Open House leaders and Emma Atkinson, our co-ordinator.
• For the pastoral care throught our church.
• For those who formally and informally care for others.

Seniors’ Work
• For Rendezvous, including Summer Rendezvous.
• For the work in the local nursing homes (Chatsworth Lodge, Rydal House and Brookholme).
• For Communion and Cuppa.

Mission and Evangelism
• For our work to encourage men’s ministry: informal pub visits, Men’s Breakfast, personal support.
• For our ALPHA courses.

Sunday -usual service times
A member of staff will be available to pray with anyone with a need

Teaching, praying resources, prayer ministry and new prayer oportunities will become available during the course of the 1000 days
