1000 days

On Sunday 11 October 2009 St Thomas' embarked on 1000 Days of Prayer. The thousand days will end on 7 July 2012 -just before the Olympics start!

It is intended to have St Thomas' Church open each weekday morning for about three hours for prayer. This plus our normal 'opening' times on a Sunday will amount to about 1000 hours per year.

Each 100 day will be marked by a Sunday 'Focus Day' on the Sunday after the actual day.

Day 100 is Tuesday 19 January 2010, the Focus Sunday was 24 January 2010.

Day 200 is Thursday 29 April 2010, the Focus Sunday was 2 May 2010.

Day 300 is Saturday 7 August 2010, the Focus Sunday will be 8 August 2010.
